How we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last updated: July 2026

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account and ordering books, including your name, email, phone number, shipping address, and your child's details and photos. We also collect payment information processed securely through Stripe — we never store your full card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to create personalized storybooks, process and ship your orders, communicate with you about your order, and improve our services. Your child's photos are used solely to generate the personalized book.

Photo Privacy

Photos of your child are stored securely and used only to create your personalized book. We do not use customer photos to train AI models without your explicit permission. You may request deletion of your photos and book data at any time by contacting us.

Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active. Photos are retained for the purpose of fulfilling your order and any reorders. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate (such as payment processors, printing partners, and delivery services), and only as necessary to fulfill your order.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. Uploaded photos are stored with restricted access and are not publicly accessible.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@dearlittlelegend.com.

Children's Privacy

Our service is designed for parents to create books for their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All data is provided by a parent or guardian who consents to its use.
