How we handle and protect your child's photos.

Your Consent
By uploading photos of your child, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian, or that you have obtained permission from the parent or legal guardian, to upload and use these photos for the purpose of creating a personalized storybook.
How Photos Are Used
Your child's photos are used solely to generate personalized illustrations for your book. They are used to help the AI keep your child's appearance consistent across illustrations. Photos are not used for any other purpose without your explicit permission.
AI Training
We do not use your child's photos to train AI models. Your uploaded photos are used only for your specific book generation request and are not incorporated into any training datasets.
Photo Storage & Security
Uploaded photos are stored securely with restricted access. They are not publicly accessible. Only authorized personnel and the AI services processing your specific request have access, solely for the purpose of creating your book.
Photo Retention
We retain your photos to fulfill your order and to allow for reorders or revisions. If you no longer need the photos stored, you may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Deletion may affect your ability to reorder the same book.
Third-Party AI Services
To generate illustrations, your photos and story details may be processed by third-party AI image generation services. These services are used under agreements that limit their use of your data to fulfilling your request. We select providers with strong privacy practices.
Your Right to Delete
You may request the deletion of your child's photos and all associated book data at any time. Contact us at hello@dearlittlelegend.com and we will process your deletion request promptly, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Age & Content Guidelines
You agree to upload only appropriate photos of children for whom you have permission. You agree not to upload any content that is unlawful, inappropriate, or that you do not have the right to use.
